From here and beyondMay 08 One summer vacation in Sosua, Dominican RepublicHere's me, one summer vacation, with Tita E and Tito B, together with his granddaughter in Sosua, Dominican Republic. March 27 At the beginningAlthough I think its a bit early to be writing about my autobiography am prompted to because of the blog fads that's going on the web. And I guess its high time that I should be sharing you my lifestory, well, that includes my lovelife and the hardships I went through though I'd still prefer not to include all of it as there are other people that might get affected. Some scenes will be omitted but will be included in the book am planning to write someday.
At this point in my life I still consider myself a nobody and maybe it would not be that interesting to you if I write something about it but just like anybody else with our sexual preference you who may or may not have the same experiences like mine I am still aiming or hoping I could impart in you some of the anecdotes I had and will have as we move on with our lives. Yes, there could be a file-sharing between us, the format will be the archives (past experiences) and/or an interactive type that you, the reader may have an input in the outcome of my decision making. So let's get it on:
I'll begin by telling you that I came from a party of five, (hmmm sounds like an old TV program;See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Party_of_Five), I have 3 brothers (Voltaire, Christian Edward and Kirk David) and a sister (Flewelynn). As far as I remember, I've been very, very different since I was a child. Passed much of my time role-play acting and never really had the opportunity to play with other boys like they usually do. I did also have a half-grandfather (well he's an illegitimate brother of my grandmom so how else should I call him) who's a gay like us and his name is Rufino, or as we were fond of calling him Lolo Rufo. He did have lotsa porn magazines stacked under his beddings and I usually sneak out to see them and most of the time I got tingling sensation whenever I saw the male physique. So I knew back them that am really attracted to guys.
But this is not the sole reason I became a gay, it could be a mixture of an absentee father, my idolization of my mom, a remnant of my sexual exploration during childhood or the sexual abuse of an adult male relative. Sounds interesting right? Don't worry I intend to elaborate on all of them as we go along in this blog. And I hope you we'll be interested in it and place comments, as I am more than willing to read and know about them. March 26 Thanks for enlisting me!It was a big surprise to find my blog in the list that can be found in the www.bestgayblogs.com. I really feel so elated, yet so sad since the truth is I just created it for my friends to see whatever I am into now that am no longer there in the Philippines. And only few of them have even tried visiting my blog, although I have been telling them a lot of times. Now, it's easy to tell whom your real friends are.
I would like to make shotouts to my friend Lito "Dondi" Malana, whom I just known recently in my life but still I can consider him the bestest of my friends that I had in the Philippines. Shall the good LORD permit, by next year he will be with me in Dominican Republic. Keep up the good work Dondi!
Again I would like to thank the blogger or the creators of www.bestgayblogs for enlisting me. This would really motivate me into writing again, for I have been ignoring this God's gift of mine for sometime. Kudos to all of you there! February 19 The drama in La Vega's Carnival"Why on earth were they celebrating a day for the demons?", this is a question posed by Teodoro when we were having dinner there in Tita Evelynda's house Saturday night. The topic was brought up since we have planned to watch them tommorrow afternoon. And we still don't understand why the Dominicans are celebrating this day. And none of the answers were satisfactorial, I have asked a lot of them and yet am not contented with it. After the dinner we went clubbing and met some of my friends including Ian who seems to be not in-a-good mood or a little cold with us. I don't know why, but I really don't care. Right after going to church, we've headed to La Vega, a town right next where my mom lives. The place were very beautiful, I mean that because it's flooded with good-looking guys.He he he he! Am I that bad and shallow? The festivities were very colorful and jolly. A lot of foreigners seems to love what's going on that's why they've swarmed the place. Although I am still the only one Asian there. I've never seen anyAsian other than me although I did not scoured the whole crowd. Mostly that I have seen were Caucasians and good looking gymbots that I have really drooled on. Well onto my observation and my quest to figuring out the answer to Teodoro's question. According to my observation they were not really worshipping the devils there, I believe it's only a representation of the thinking that there's good and evil in one of us. And they have come out from where they are to reprimand us from our wrong doings hence the whipping with their "bejiga", which is made from cow's intestines wrapped with a cloth so it would not hurt that much. I got hit twice (one for each buttcheek) but it's not really hurtful as Carlos and my mom said. And every group of devils comes from a cueva (cave) and visits every other cave in their path, like calling them to come out and upon going out they hit the people in front of us, opening the throngs of crowd in front of them. They just made it colorful and festive so the foreigners or tourist would come and boost the economy of the town or the whole country. For more information of the carnival check out these sites: (1) http://www.dominicanmasks.com/(2) http://dr1.com/articles/masks.shtml(3) http://accordiongirl.blogspot.com/Btw, we've met my internet friend there too and his name is Ernesto Contreras. He seems a cool and nice guy since he knows a lot of people there, but he's kinda effeminate (what a turn-off). And I got shocked really because I was thinking that he was taller (based on the picture), it turned out that he's just tall as me. Same with Paul Collado in Constanza I thought he was smaller (I saw him on cam).Maybe this could be your experience too when doing EB(Eye Ball/ or meeting). Am not really choosy on the looks of the person when it comes to befriending. For me, he can still be a friend no matter what he looks like. He really took care of us when were inside the crowd and was really concerned. The attitude and character of the person, matters most. Our trip to ConstanzaAlthough it was not really planned, we've decided to pass by Constanza before we go and visit my mom in Santiago. We've contacted my internet friend there so we can have a guide who'll give us a tour in that place. The trekk to go there is so treacherous, because of the sharp curved roads, not only that, you have to go slow because it's not very easy to see if there's another car on the road ahead. But we did well eventhough it's the first time that Carlos have driven on that road. My life was on his hand, imagine me holding both the seat and the handle of the door. Heheheheh! I am not scared, ain't I? I've got an andrenaline rush there it's like riding a rollercoaster. The travel took more than an hour, longer than it should be because we have to be cautious and the roads going there is yet to be repaired. When we arrived there it's already high noon, I got very disappointed since I have high hopes of what to see there. Guess my mom just fabricated all those stories about the place. It's a little town with a big, big garden. We've met Paul, and he gave us the tour of the place, meaning a tour of the gardens for the produce of that place. So I saw, the broccoli, zanaoria (carrots), ajo (garlic), fresa (strawberries), papas(potatoes) and all. Sounds boring right? At least it's a brake from monotony of the endless beaches I saw here in Dominican Republic. The bad thing there is that I have never seen one good looking guy, not even one. Where could they have been hiding? Or there was none at all? Paul was very hospitable, he received us there very cordially though it's our first time to see him. Besides showing us the place, he even invited us to have lunch there in their house. It's so cold there although it's already highnoon not like in Santo Domingo because usually perspire a lot. Her mom was also very happy to see us, she had served good food yet it's dominican I tried my best to show them that I loved it. Sorry to say but I am so fed up with it, you know? They all taste the same. No wonder, Paul is very very horny (hehehe!) because there's no gay hangouts whatsoever. Imagine he's just doing it in a car on a dark road, in the rivers or in the mountains. Seems dangerous but for him that is the gay life. But it could be something, right? Only if you're a nature loving gay?
Overall my comment however is that I'd still love Baguio, it cannot be compared to Constanza. They will need a lot of improvement for them to succeed attracting more tourist. However, development has their own price to pay, congestion, pollution and prostitution. Are they ready for that?
